Job Brief
As a member of the StrataPrime sales team, you inspire leading companies to work smarter with Google tools like Google Workspace, Voice, and Chrome. You advocate the innovative power of Google products to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile. You will always do the right thing for the customer, and provide them with the best solutions for innovation. Using your passion for Google products, you help spread the magic of Google to organizations located in North
America.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and expansion of Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, and Voice (collectively, “Workspace”) business growth across North America with both new and existing customers. In this role, you'll help create and execute the strategy and provide unique insights on applying Google productivity solutions to enterprises. Leveraging a methodology and communication skills, you will build an excellent pipeline and work with peers to build out the customer solution and establish partnerships. You will strategize with internal Googlers to increase account and territory business growth. You will work directly with customers, coordinate internal resources, and construct successful strategies at account and territory level.

What you will be doing
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives and provide coaching and mentorship to help them achieve their goals. Assist with onboarding of new team members where required.
- Monitor and drive toward sales targets. Present sales reports and forecasts to senior management on a regular basis.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for product and marketing initiatives.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, guide long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor. Be responsive, thorough, helpful and creative to help customers and keep sales momentum
- Work with customer program owners and key leaders to bring solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. Provide consulting services, thought leadership, and expertise on customer engagements to drive decisions and execution.
- Complete daily sales meetings and provide constant feedback for continued business and personal growth
- Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer on sales strategy, resourcing plans, scaling and customer / Google satisfaction levels and execute effective sales campaigns
- Deliver against assigned business and growth goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience for customers and prospects. Increase the level of referenceability of accounts in the market
- Maintain and grow current customer accounts by enabling the sales team to focus on both developing new opportunities and cross-selling services via the account management
- Train, monitor and ensure quality documentation of sales leads, meetings, deal updates, deal registrations, customer proposals, and sales orders
- Coordinate with Architectural and Service Delivery teams to ensure sufficient resources are available to optimize customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle, and all resources are cross-trained to a high standard
- Maintain and foster a strong relationship with the Architectural and Service Delivery teams to align company culture, coordination, trust and responsiveness.
- Continue to develop relationships with the strategic partners and vendors such as the Google Chrome team and distribution partners, ensuring vendor accreditations and resale mechanisms are in place.
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of SaaS sales and sales management experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
- Experience managing customer and prospect accounts with sales cycles, and reaching and exceeding goals with a focus on software or technology products
- Expertise in sales coaching, setting sales targets, leading and managing resources to achieve goals for a team of at least 4+ sales representatives/direct reports
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience in leading a sales team to successfully setting and achieving quotas
- Experience with creation of sales incentive/commission/quota plans in software sales
- Financial and business acumen, understanding of profit/loss and budget management
- Self-starter who is dependable and can act quickly and accurately on multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive sales strategy.
- Prepare account level and sales team reporting including price and margin analysis, close rates against targets, etc
- Strategic sales mindset to lead the development of the sales function and drive business growth
- Experience with CRM sales tools
